Day 4, week 1!

The first week is over and we had great fun together. We leave Egypt behind and we're ready to enter the world of Greece an Rome. To the ones who are not coming back on Monday, we'll miss you!!!! And for the others, have a great weekend!
Friday was a great day, because, in the morning, we went to the Egyptian Museum, and it was really interesting. After lunch, we did a superfun gymkhana with mummies, water games and pyramids. Here you have a selection of pictures.

La primera setmana del casal s'ha acabat, i ens ho hem passat molt bé junts. Deixem Egipte enrere i estem preparats per endinsar-nos al món de Grècia i Roma. Als que marxen, us trobarem a faltar!!! I a la resta, que tingueu un molt bon cap de setmana.

El divendres va ser un dia fantàstic, perquè pel matí vàrem anar al museu egipci, i va ser molt interessant. Després de dinar, vàrem fer una gimcana superdivertida amb mòmies, jocs d'aigua i piràmides, Aquí us oferim una sel.lecció d'imatges.
També us volem mostrar uns vídeos que hem estat fent durant tota la setmana. Esperem que us agradin!

Day 3, Week 1!

Hello again! 

We did so many things today! Arts and crafts, swimming pool, games, sports, computers and so many activities. Here you have some pictures!

Remember that tomorrow we're going to the Egyptian Museum and, in the afternoon, we'll do a gymkhana and water games so bring your swimming suit, a towel and flip-flops.

Avui hem fet tantes coses! Manualitats, piscina, jocs, esports, ordinadors i moltes altres activitats. Aquí teniu algunes fotografies!

Recordeu que demà anem al museu egipci i, per la tarda, farem una gimcana i jocs d'aigua, així que porteu el banyador, una tovallola i unes xancles.

Even though we thought the weather would be awful, it was sooooo sunny!
We went to Malgrat de Mar and had a fantastic day! Here you have some pictures.

Day 1, week 1!

Hello everybody!
The first day has already finished and we're so surprised that the level of English has improved so much!  Today we've done many activities and here you have some pictures of them.

Also, remember that tomorrow we're going to Malgrat de Mar! We're going to a very cool 

park and many activities have been prepared for you! So remember:

- bring you suncream with you!

- bring your swimming costume!

- wear the t-shirt of the casal!

- wear trainers and a cup!

- be punctual! The bus will be waiting for you all!

Hola a tots i totes!

El primer dia ja ha acabat i estem molt sorpresos amb el bon nivell d'anglès dels alumnes! 

Com heu millorat! Avui hem fet moltes activitats i aquí teniu una mostra!

Recordeu també que demà anem a Malgrat de Mar! Anem a un parc molt xulo i hem 

preparat moltes activitats per vosaltres! Així que recordeu:

- porteu crema solar!

-porteu el banyador!

-porteu la samarreta del casal!

- porteu sabates esportives i una gorra.

-Intenteu ser puntuals! El bus ens estarà esperant!

Welcome to English and Civilizations!

Welcome again to the blog of col.legi Sant Miquel’s English Casal! 
We're glad to be here again to spend three amazing weeks with you all.

Through this blog, we’ll keep you updated on the day-to-day activities that the children will be doing. Also, you will be able to see pictures, videos, texts written in English by the children themselves, and you will have access to the schedule. Moreover, this blog intends to be a communicative tool between the monitors and the parents, since we will keep reminding you of the schedule, the activities the children will be doing the following day and the required clothing for such activities, among other issues.

We hope that the children enjoy the Casal with us and have fun with this blog, which will also be their space. Also, we hope they improve their English and they learn about different civilizations through different leisure activities and sports!

Benvinguts i benvingudes un cop més al bloc del Casal d’anglès del col·legi Sant Miquel!
 Estem encantats de tornar a ser aquí per passar tres setmanes magnífiques amb tots vosaltres.
 Des d’aquest bloc us anirem informant del dia a dia dels nens al casal. Així, podreu conèixer les activitats que s’han realitzat durant el dia, i podreu veure fotografies, vídeos i, fins i tot, textos realitzats pels nens. També podreu consultar els horaris i les activitats que els nens realitzaran el dia següent. A més, aquest bloc funcionarà com una eina de comunicació monitors-pares, ja que us anirem recordant els dies de les sortides, el vestuari que necessitaran, etc.

Esperem que els nens gaudeixin del casal, d’aquest espai, que també serà seu, i que aprenguin molt d’anglès i de diverses civilitzacions mitjançant activitats de lleure i esport!
